The Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), seeks a Research assistant for nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) (m/f/d, up to TV-L 13, 100 % limited to 2 years with the option for permanent employment). The AWI’s NMR laboratory focusses on the structure elucidation of organic molecules such as toxins, peptides or polysaccharides, as well as on metabolomic changes in cold-water organisms in response to environmental stress. We seek a highly-motivated staff member to support the general operation of the NMR laboratory, the preparation, measurement and data analysis of scientific samples, as well as support and instruction of external users.
