Postdoctoral position at King's College London

Dear all,

I have an open position for a postdoctoral researcher in my group at King’s College London in the UK, to study bacterial biofilm formation by X-ray crystallography and/or NMR. The position is available from October 2025 and is initially funded for 3 years.

In my group we investigate molecular mechanisms that promote bacterial disease. We are particularly interested in biofilm formation but also other key virulence traits that allow bacteria to establish infections and persist within the host/environment. We take a multidiscipline approach using structural biology (X-ray crystallography, NMR, EM, SAXS) coupled with cellular, biochemical and other biophysical techniques.

The successful candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary team situated in one of the top research-led universities in the UK and globally.

For further information about the position and how to apply (deadline 21st July), please visit our website: Research Associate at King's College London

More information about the group can be found here: Garnett Lab | King's College London
