Printing problem in 2.5.1

Hi Ccpnmr team,

While printing the spectra with labels in postscript and encaspulated postscript format the ccpnmr 2.5.1 crashes and gives an error in the terminal. With pdf. format it is working fine.

/Applications/ccpnmr2.5.1/bin/analysis: line 11: 735 Segmentation fault: 11 `${ANACONDA3}`/bin/python -i -O -W ignore `${ANALYSIS}` $*

Could you please tell how to solve this issue ?

Regards,
Tejaswini

Hi Tejaswini,

thanks for reporting this. This looks like a bug which we will have to look into.

Vicky

Hi Tejaswini,

we haven`t quite got the bottom of this issue yet, but so far it looks as though it is tied specifically to trying to print spectra that contain the arrows linking a peak label to a peak (see attached for an example). If you remove all these, e.g. by having the labels sufficiently close to the peaks, or setting the labels to the default position (select peaks and then shortcut W), then printing .ps or .eps files seems to be okay. Hopefully we will find a proper fix for this, but thought this info might be useful in the mean time.

If you are finding that there is something else that is causing this error, please let us know. Thanks.

Best wishes,

Vicky

Hi Tejaswini,

a fixed version (2.5.2) is now available for download at https://www.ccpn.ac.uk/v2-software/downloads/2.5

Best wishes,
